Installed RAM, the 32MB TNT2 M64 PCI I managed to get with it, and plugged in the ATX power supply in this case (after dusting it off).
It fires up!! Chucked in the last 2032 I had in the cupboard and CMOS is remembering settings. The backplane I managed to get sent to me from America mostly fits — ports slot in there fine, which is the most critical thing, but it doesn’t fit into the ATX hole in the case. Well, no worry, with the board squished against it and screwed in all is tight enough.

Case received, board + chip received. Pulled this open and took a look, well at least it has most of the board mounts! And a lot of dust. The PSU is 420W, so I guess it’s newer than the case. Hopefully nothing will go pop. No time to do much more today.
